HEY FRIENDS AND FAMILY! GUESS WHAT... I HAVE EXCITING NEWS!
Me and Blaise (pictured above) are leading an Extreme DTS outreach team to Papua New Guinea, the Outback of Australia, and Queenstown! We will be taking a team of 5 students for nearly three months throughout these three locations.
Blaise is from Canada, hence our matching outfits. Don't we look good? Wow, we are going to destroy the works of the enemy together everywhere we go. Blaise is the exact opposite of everything that I am. His 'love language' is effeciency, he enjoys logic and practical planning, he is gifted in thinking ahead and seeing the big picture, he is excellent at preparing things in advance, and he is great at tying all of the loose strings together. He leads with humility and the mantra of 'slow to speak, quick to listen.' I feel SO BLESSED to lead a team with this guy. I know it is going to be a blast because we compliment each other perfectly.

SO WHAT'S THE PLAN?
December 25th: OUTREACH STARTS!
December 25th - January 2nd: Evangelism in Queenstown, New Zealand
January 2nd: Fly to Papua New Guinea. After we land in PNG, we will fly to a city called Alotau to work with a YWAM ministry there. We will be teaching practical skills to the locals (like business, marketing, woodworking, etc), as well as empowering the local church with practical teaching and equipping. We will also be travelling to local villages around the island during our time in Alotau in order to spread the Gospel to people who have never heard the true message of Jesus Christ.
January 18th: Aboard the YWAM Townsville Medical Ship, a cruise ship that is now used for medical missions in PNG, and sail up the ocean to a coastal town called Lae. Once we get to Lae, we will be partnering with the YWAM base there as they are starting a DTS around the same time we are arriving. We have 5 weeks in this area, so we are planning on going deep into the bush to stay in villages for the extent of this time. Here we will be focusing a lot on preaching the Gospel, as well as intercession, deliverance, and discipling churches.
February 26th: Fly to Brisbane, Australia to partner with the YWAM Gold Coast base. We will drive 8 hours inland to get to the Outback of Australia to do ministry with the aboriginals. We will be in Moree as well a Brewarinna. We will be focusing on building relationships with families in the outback as well as preaching and teaching. We will also be spending some time in the Gold Coast of Australia as we debreif all God has done and all that we have learned during our time of outreach.
March 9th: Fly back home to Queenstown, New Zealand!
March 11-16th: Last week of DTS! The students GRADUATE!!!
